The Jakarta Bintangs was formed in 1995 with the objective to provide a football outlet to the many Australians living in Indonesia’s capital. The club is open to anyone from any background to come along to learn, participate, socialize and have fun while playing footy. Men, women, children and people from any background, whether Australian, Indonesian or otherwise, are encouraged to join our beloved club.

Football trainings are usually carried out on Thursday night, Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon. Thursday night trainings are done at GBK Senayan, on the hockey field, from 6pm to 8pm. Weekend trainings have lately been done at Lapangan Bola Aldiron. For the upcoming schedule for trainings, please see below. We also host a range of social events, including watching live televised AFL matches in our sponsor bars, and other fun events.
